ZENTANGLES WORKSHOP

For the March meeting Janice led a workshop super workshop for the group on designing Zentangles. 

Designing Zentangles is the art of creating sophisticated ‘doodles’.  The designs are worked in small squares called tiles, which look wonderful to see a block of all different designed tiles assembled as a mosaic.   

They are made using a pencil, ruler and fine nibbed pen.  These designs can be used in so many different crafts, a very useful skill to have.  

 

The designs can be made using a combination of dots, lines, curves and circles.  The strokes can be fine to broad and light to dark.
