Label Samples 

The idea for the day was to make a sample of a stitch or some other idea onto a label,

something that is easy to transport.  Then if we need to take a sample of work when demonstrating our skill we will have a useful item to show what we can do.  

Some members did stitch samples including needle lace;  another chose mini patchwork pieces; another idea was to make 12 labels, one for each month of the year;  we even had a felted bull!   All did something totally different - we must have a very creative group.  

Everyone left having completed at least one piece and all feeling happy about their work.  

It was so good to meet up again.  It was the beginning of December since we last met and it seemed such a long time.
